We are looking for a Budget and Cost Control Lead for one of our clients with the following details:  

Contract Duration: 12 months renewable

Location: Paris or London during FEED then at EPC location or Baku Azerbaijan

Contract type: Contract Hire

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Several years of experience as a Lead in similar position
• +10 years of experience in Feed for Oil and Gas projects
• Languages: English

Activities

• Monitor and analyse FEED and project expenditures.
• Collaborate with project teams to control expenses, fostering proactive cost management.
• Implement and refine cost control strategies.
• Review and approve project budgets to ensure alignment with financial objectives and constraints.
• Provide comprehensive financial analysis and reporting to stakeholders.
• Assist PCM manager to evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to optimize costs and enhance project profitability.
• Support the Change Management process implemented by being pro-active in early cost identification of deviations and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations. Able to work in large, collaborative teams with multiple site and partners
