For our clinical laboratory client, localized in the French part of Switzerland, we are looking for a :
Histotechnologist
Your missions
- Perform a variety of routine andspecializedIHC techniques and procedures such as:
- Preparation of tissue specimens for Histology, IHC and MultiOmyx
- Preparation of slides for microscopic evaluation by pathologists
- Perform mostly IHC staining on all automated platforms
- Perform also Molecular, Flow Cytometry, FISH, and Cytogenetics testings if necessary
- Perform project support duties across methodologies including accessioning, query initiation and resolution, and shipment management, etc.
- Establish test results with appropriate documentation
- Ensure coordination and execution assays validation
- Manage troubleshooting on all applicable instruments/procedures in the department
- Identify problems that may affect test performance or reporting of test results and resolves or immediately reports to the manager
Your profile
- CFC, Bachelor of Science in chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory or medical science
- 5-year experience in a clinical/medical laboratory
- Previous experience in IHC testings
- Open and ready to lift up to 50 pounds material load
- Ability, on a consistent basis, to stand during shift, excluding meal and rest period
- Fluent in English is mandatory
- Must be familiar and knowledgeable of general and requirements within CAP/CLIA/NYS institutions
