Gi Group Scunthorpe is currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a dynamic and fast-paced team at a cold store facility in Hemswell. If you’re reliable, hardworking, and ready for a role with great hours and regular opportunities for overtime, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Location:
• Gainsborough – own transport required due to site location.
Hours of work as a Warehouse Operative: Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 16:30
• Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00 (1 in every 3 Saturdays).
• Regular overtime available.
Pay Rate:
• £13 per hour, increasing to £14ph after probation.
• £14.25ph for any candidates holding an in date / valid Reach FLT license
What you’ll be doing as a Warehouse Operative:
As part of the warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations. Key responsibilities include:
• Picking and assembling customer orders accurately for storage and dispatch.
• Performing heavy lifting (up to 25kg) and manual handling tasks while adhering to health and safety procedures.
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if required).
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Supporting with stock checks and inventory management.
