A family-run, raw material processing business that supplies into the FMCG Industry, based near Beverley is recruiting for a Packing Technician to join their small team. The successful candidate will ideally have worked within a highly automated production and packaging environment and be able to manage an automated packaging line.

The Packing Technician will be responsible for;

• Initial packaging line set up as per production schedule
• Responsible for line changeovers
• To manage and take ownership of the Packing Area
• Adhering to the companies Packing process and all relevant equipment usage
• Conduct quality checks throughout the shift and complete all paperwork
• Meet and exceed production targets
• Liaise with Palletising Technician and Process Technician to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all production targets

To be considered for the role of Packing Technician you will ideally have;

• Previous production or packaging line experience within an automated environment
• Previous experience of performing quality checks and completion of all quality paperwork
• Operated Machinery in a Food Production capacity
• Have a keen eye for detail and good IT skills
• Be familiar with lean manufacturing techniques
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work to cover all areas of production on completion of training
• FLT - Counterbalance License 
• Due to location own transport is beneficial

Shift Pattern: This will be daytime hours of 8.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00 am - 12:30 pm on a Friday.
