An independent, raw material agricultural processing business who supply in to the Animal Feed Industry, based near Malton are recruiting for a Process Operator to join their small team. The successful candidate will ideally have worked within a production and packaging environment and be able to work autonomously with a proactive approach to all production duties.
The Process Operator will be responsible for;
- Initial process and production set up prior to the line starting
- Responsible for line changeovers
- To manage and take ownership of the Mixing and Blending process
- Adhering to the companies Production Blending process and all relevant equipment usage
- Conduct quality checks throughout the shift and complete all paperwork
- Meet and exceed production targets
- Liaise with Shift Technician and Shift Nutritionists to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all production targets
To be considered for the role of Process Operator you will ideally have;
- Previous production or packaging line experience within an automated environment
- Previous experience of performing quality checks and completion of all quality paperwork
- Operated Machinery in a Food Production capacity
- Have a keen eye for detail and good IT skills
- Be familiar with lean manufacturing techniques
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work to cover all areas of production on completion of training
- Due to location own transport is beneficial
