A family run, raw material processing business who supply in to the FMCG Industry, based near Beverley are recruiting for a Machine Operator with a Counterbalance FLT to join their small team. The successful candidate will ideally have worked within a highly automated production and packaging environment and be able to manage an automated packaging line.
The Machine Operator with Counterbalance FLT will be responsible for;
- Initial packaging line set up as per production schedule
- Responsible for line changeovers
- To manage and take ownership of the Packing Area
- Adhering to the companies Packing process and all relevant equipment usage
- Conduct quality checks throughout the shift and complete all paperwork
- Meet and exceed production targets
- Liaise with Palletising Technician and Process Technician to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all production targets
To be considered for the role of Machine Operator with Counterbalance FLT you will ideally have;
- Previous production or packaging line experience within an automated environment
- Previous experience of performing quality checks and completion of all quality paperwork
- Operated Machinery in a Food Production capacity
- Have a keen eye for detail and good IT skills
- Be familiar with lean manufacturing techniques
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work to cover all areas of production on completion of training
- Due to location own transport is beneficial
