An established and successful Construction business is recruiting for an experienced Site Foreman to work on a full-time permanent contract near the Driffield, East Yorkshire area. Standard Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with early morning starts, so will need to be flexible when required. The ideal candidate will have a Construction trade background and will be responsible for all Health & Safety and site operations, assessing the quality of the job, materials, and timeframes.
As the Site Foreman, you will be responsible for;
- Direct the work of operatives
- Ensure all Health & Safety is adhered to onsite
- Plan and order materials to be delivered to sites accordingly
- Keep a daily record of work carried out
- Ensure that works proceed in accordance with site programs
- Ensure all work complies with quality, safety, and environment policies and the requirements of the company procedures
- Assisting with relevant site activities, managing workmanship, performance, meeting specifications, and ensuring all statutory requirements are carried out.
- Leading by example.
- Ability to identify amendments and reporting them.
To be considered for the Site Foreman role you will;
- Applicants must hold a full UK driving license.
- Supervisory Experience and a relevant trade background are essential.
- Understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and the ability to use a computer is required.
- SMSTS or SSSTS Supervisory Certificate (Preferred).
- First Aid Certificate (Preferred).
- CSCS Card.
The hours are Monday – Friday 7.30 am – 4.00 pm ideally, early morning starts when required, would need to be flexible on working hours depending on workload and job timeframes
Salary: £30,000- depending on experience
