A motivated and experienced Livestock Labourer is required to assist in and around a farm establishment in the Malton Area. This position will entail all general farm maintenance duties, regular hygiene activities and husbandry duties to the livestock. The role will be a full time ongoing position, working Tuesdays only.

The Role of Livestock Labourer:

• Assisting with feeding and bedding the pigs
• Maintenance and upkeep of pig pens and fencing
• Hygiene duties, cleaning down of pig pens and the yard area
• General Labouring and farm duties

Experienced Required for the role of Farm Hand

• Previous experience within a labour intensive or agricultural setting prior
• an enthusiastic approach to all work
• Ability to labour and work to a fast pace
• Heavy lifting will be a frequent requirement for this role

This is a full time, ongoing position that pays £10.20 per hour, working on an ongoing basis. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone to gain some regular work who has previous experience in an agricultural setting. Any work carried out between 7pm and 6am is paid at £11.72 per hour, with any overtime paid at £13.65, inclusive of weekend work and any work completed after 39hrs at basic/night rate.
