Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home (EBD)
Location: Walsall, West Midlands
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum + £7,500 Welcome Bonus
Job Type: Permanent | Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established 4-bed Children's Residential Home supporting young people aged 8–17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high-quality, child-centred care while maintaining full compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes Quality Standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the residential care team.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements.
- Oversee care planning, staffing, budgets and quality assurance.
- Build positive relationships with young people, families and professionals.
- Promote a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment.
- Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes.
About You
You'll have:
- Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children's residential home.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Quality Standards.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to achieve it.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
