Our Enforcement Officers play a big part in clamping untaxed vehicles on behalf of the DVLA.

 

Your day starts with a briefing from your manager and making sure you've got everything you need for the day ahead You'll drive one of our specialist ANPR vehicles which will locate untaxed vehicles on public highways as you drive by. You will then be responsible for making sure any vehicles flagged are clamped and dealt with in the right way

Dealing with members of the public is a big part of the role, sometimes in difficult circumstances, so you must be a great communicator.

 

What you’ll be doing:

Liaising with members of the public and give advice regarding the clamp and fines.
Advise the public on payment methods and other issues regarding enforcement action taken on their vehicle.

You can often work with other agencies, when required including, Police, Local Council, DVLA and VOSA
Dealing with enquiries from the public regarding enforcement action and ensuring the relevant information packs are available.

You will need to be flexible in your attitude to working hours, locations and must be prepared to take on other roles, temporarily, as required by the operation.
Be presentable and show high levels of personal integrity and honesty.

Attend a daily briefing and collects all de-clamp information and reports relevant to the day’s work
Ensures all vehicles and enforcement equipment is serviceable and fit for purpose reports all faults to the Pound Manager. All relevant stationary clamps and locks are on the vehicle Completes daily reports regarding activities, clamp loads and equipment issues.

 

What you’ll need:

Driving licence.
Computer literate Ability to communicate with the public often in difficult and demanding circumstances.
Ability to compile simple reports.

Customer service skills.

 

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

  • 42.5 hours per week MON – FRIDAY 8/.30-5.30  EVERY OTHER SATURDAY 9-12
