Collections/ Accounts Receivable Officer
Salary: $75K - $80K + super
Location: Mount Waverley, 1 day WFH, Free parking on site

Role: 6 month contract with potential to extend - *Role is suitable for working holiday visa’s*

ABOUT THE ROLE:
s a Collections Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Credit function by managing the Accounts Receivable process, including data cleaning, collections, and reconciliations. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely results while building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage a dedicated customer portfolio across multiple ERP systems
• Perform high-volume outbound collection calls and proactively follow up on overdue accounts
• Investigate and resolve customer queries while completing accurate account reconciliations
• Work collaboratively with customers to help them meet agreed trading terms
• Proactively reduce aged debt and support a strong cash flow position
• Build and maintain positive, proactive relationships with both internal teams and external customer

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years experience managing a large portfolio in a high-volume environment
• Trade credit experience is highly advantageous
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working across multiple ERP systems and intermediate Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUPs)
• High attention to detail with excellent time management skills
