ABOUT THE COMPANY.

We are working with an ASX listed retail giant who own and operate numerous retail brands across Australia as well as internationally. The company are able to offer fantastic employee discounts on their products but above all else, this role is one that will offer immense career progression in the commercial space of accounting.

This is a 6 month contract role with potential to extend.

Please note this role is full time in the office on St Kilda Road.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE.

• End to end, high volume invoice processing
• Review invoices against lease agreements, contracts, budgets, and service schedules.
• Identify incorrect charges, duplicate invoices, or unusual cost increases.
• Cash receipting
• Prioritise invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
• Process weekly payment run in all countries
• Vendor maintenance and respond to all vendor inquiries
• Assist in month end closing, including month end journals

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE.

• Experience in a similar role is desirable (property AP)
• Ability to multitask and handle a high volume
• Experience in an accounts role is beneficial
• Strong attention to detail & accuracy
• Exceptional communication & customer service skills
• Proficient with Excel
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and continually looks for opportunities to improve and grow
