Marketing Coordinator

About the role

Reporting to the Campus Director, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing appropriate marketing strategies and tactics to increase the profile of SAE Auckland. This is a varied role that demands graphic design skills, social media expertise, digital marketing knowledge, copywriting for website content and media releases, as well as the event management skills needed to coordinate our annual Open Day and oversee SAE Auckland’s involvement in regional career expos.

  

The person we seek will ideally have the following:

  • The ability to think strategically and understand the needs of prospective students in their decision-making process
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite and have impressive graphic design skills
  • Experience with designing advertising materials and ability to liaison with relevant media outlets to publish advertisements
  • Knowledge and experience of marketing via social media channels
  • Ability to develop or organise marketing content for the website
  • Outstanding communication skills including an understanding of publicity and ability to write newsworthy stories for general release or social media
  • Ability to coordinate events including SAE Open Days, as well as our involvement in national Career Expos
  • Knowledge of the New Zealand tertiary education sector, particularly within the context of creative media education
  • Be able to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently to achieve required outcomes
