About the Role:
The Accountant will play a key role in supporting the fiscal operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance across a variety of publicly funded programs and private grants. Reporting to the Assistant Director, this position is ideal for someone with nonprofit experience and a strong command of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyze, and verify financial reports and information

  • Review and approve staff hiring forms and allocation changes for assigned programs

  • Review and authorize purchase orders and payment requests for accuracy and compliance

  • Analyze recurring fiscal issues and propose solutions

  • Support broader fiscal operations and adapt to evolving responsibilities
