Executive Assistant (A1425998NY-Perm) New York, New York

Salary: USD129000 - USD130000 per year

Our client, a venture capital firm, is seeking an Executive Assistant – Events & Operations in New York. The hours are 9:00am–6:00pm, and the role is fully in office, five days per week, with occasional flexibility when the team is traveling.

 

Responsibilities:
• Provide high-level executive support to two Senior Partners and four Investment Associates, including calendar management, travel coordination, scheduling, and personal tasks
• Manage and coordinate all internal and external meetings, investor calls, and events
• Support confidential communications, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the New York office, including supplies, vendors, space planning, and liaising with building management
• Assist with onboarding and administrative orientation for new hires
• Plan and execute a variety of events, including offsites, networking receptions, client dinners, and portfolio events

 

Qualifications:
• 5–8+ years of experience in a support, coordination, or operations role within industries such as tech, digital agencies, advertising, or startups
• Bachelor’s degree required

  • Strong event planning experience and familiarity with NYC venues, restaurants, and vendors
    • Professional, client-facing, and NYC-savvy, with a proactive and flexible mindset
    • 24/7 mentality and strong work ethic
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail
    • Proficient in Google Suite, Slack, MS Office, and Zoom; familiarity with event/CRM tools a plus

 

Compensation/Benefits:
• Up to $130K plus bonus
