Executive Assistant (A1446611NY-Temp) New York, New York

Salary: USD50 - USD50 per hour

Our client, a leading global alternative asset management firm located in Manhattan is looking for a Temp Executive Assistant to join their team to help cover a leave. This is a 2 month contract starting at the end of February through early May with flexibility to extend. This person will be in office at least 3 days per week with the rest work from home. Hours generally start at 8:30am through 7pm, with flexibility for earlier start times and availability through 8pm and some weekends. Compensation is up to $50/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • General administrative duties: heavy calendaring, travel management, expenses, confidential document preparation
  • Meeting planning, prep, logistics, and oversight
  • Manage sensitive info with discretion
  • Develop understanding of team goals and align tasks accordingly
  • Balance multiple priorities with accuracy and urgency
  • Anticipate issues and address needs proactively
  • Build trust-based relationships across teams
  • Serve as sole EA for the business unit, acting as the main administrative point of contact 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant administrative experience (financial industry preferred)
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Clear and accurate communication skills
  • Discretion and integrity
  • High attention to detail; able to multitask in fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility for after-hours needs
