A non-profit located in the Flatiron neighborhood of Manhattan is looking for a part-time temp to perm Data Specialist to support their Vice President of Development. The ideal candidate is someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and a customer service mindset. A Bachelor’s degree, experience working with Raiser’s Edge software and Microsoft Excel are required. 3+ years of experience working for a non-profit, as well as experience using Blackbaud NXT and Online Express is strongly preferred. For now, this is a remote position, and there is a possibility that it will stay remote. Day to day, this person will be responsible for maintaining the Raiser’s Edge database of contacts, onboarding and training Blackbaud users across the organization, creating both internal and external mailing lists, recording and processing donations and gifts and efficiently creating acknowledgments of letters/ receipts for all donations and liaise with the finance team. They will coordinate training and policies, and set the standard for accuracy of data entry within the organization. This is a part-time role while temping, 2 - 2.5 days a week 9am-5pm. This modified schedule will change and include more days once perm. Overtime is unlikely, but if needed they will coordinate with them in advance if needed.
