Receptionist (A1418650NY-Temp) New York, New York

Salary: USD19 - USD19 per hour

Digital financial services company in Midtown, Manhattan is looking to hire a Temp Receptionist for one for their corporate locations. Schedule is Monday – Friday onsite, 9am – 5pm. Assignment starts early June - August 2025. Strong potential to extend.

 

The main function of the receptionist is to provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests and performing clerical functions.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greets and directs visitors.
  • Provide information and answers the telephone or console switchboard.
  • Receive and send packages via couriers.
  • Maintain visitor log and/or call record, provides security passes/badges, typing, filing or other simple clerical functions.
  • Maintain boardroom schedule and equipment.
  • Provide other administrative support as required: typing, filing, photocopying, binding books, and preparing mailers

 

Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time. 
  • Ability to keep information organized and confidential.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

 

Education/Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

 

Pay rate: $19/hour
