Salary: USD28.84 - USD28.84 per year

Our client, a litigation consulting firm, is seeking a Temporary Administrative Services Assistant to support their NYC office. Hours are 9am - 6pm with flexibility for overtime as needed. In office 5 days/week. Up to $28.84/hr.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Respond and follow up appropriately to reports of facilities problems and portal/email requests.
  • Ensure orderliness and cleanliness in “public” areas including reception, conference rooms, restrooms, and kitchens.
  • Communicate janitorial service requests to the Associate Director, Facilities and Administration and spot clean carpet, walls, and glass doors as needed.
  • Assist in maintenance inspections of facilities for safety hazards and regulation requirements. 
  • Sort, log, and distribute mail and deliver packages.
  • Assist with set up and clean up (including catering and tables) for meetings, receptions, and special events.
  • Assist with office moves and prepare workstations for new employees.
  • Assist with production requests including copying/assembling binders and documents and communicating to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain facility related spreadsheets and databases as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience directly related to general office, or facilities duties professional services experience preferred.
  • Degree highly preferred
  • The desire to take initiative and actively contribute to the team and the firm.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to learn the firm’s financial and operational functions.
  • The mindset to provide superior service.
  • Basic computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office required.
