Receptionist/Concierge (A1459793NY-Temp) New York, New York

Salary: USD30 - USD30 per hour

Our client, a prominent Investment Management firm, is seeking a Temporary Receptionist/Concierge to start ASAP for a commitment of 1 month with flexibility to extend for 2-3 months. This will be seated on a heavily trafficked client facing floor in their Bryant Park office. The hours are 7:30am – 4:30pm with flex as needed. This role is in office 5 days. Hourly rate is up to $30/hr.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate person or department
  • Handling inquiries and providing basic information about the company
  • Manage visitor registration, notify staff of visitor arrivals, and escort Visitors to conference rooms
  • Assist with general administrative tasks such as scheduling team meetings, provide administrative support to the Events team as needed such as signs, Wi-Fi cards, name plates, etc.
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings and conference room bookings and work with IT regarding virtual meetings, video conferences, and conference calls
  • Manage catering and beverage requests
  • Handling internal and external communication in a professional manner
  • Collaborating with security personnel to maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Work closely with Marketing for all events by attending logistics meetings, handling all Workplace Services logistics during events, and connecting with catering labor support for event

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
  • 2+ years of receptionist/administrative assistant experience, ideally in a fast-paced dynamic professional environment is required.
  • Exceptional time, task, and resource management skills.
  • Must have a positive “can do” attitude, be a consummate team player, show excellent judgment as well as work well independently.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office including WORD, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task with a willingness to perform a wide range of tasks including working with confidential information.
