Social Impact Associate (A1422655NY-Temp) New York, New York

Salary: USD32.5 - USD32.5 per hour

Our client, a well-known payment card services corporation, is seeking a Temporary to Permanent Social Impact Associate. This is a hybrid role that requires Tuesday-Thursday to be in the office and Monday and Friday remote. The role will be over a year long and then will have the opportunity to convert permanently after that duration of time. It pays up to $32.50/hr and starts ASAP.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support (75%):
    • Executing contracts and internal processes
    • Managing administrative tasks with external partners
    • Collecting biweekly updates and sharing with global teams
    • Creating PowerPoint decks (sales, speaker prep, etc.)
    • Supporting internal documentation and speaker/event logistics
    • Handling billing, remittance, and finance-related tasks
  • Programmatic Support (25%):
    • Supporting high-volume, low-cost financial education projects
    • Operationalizing and standardizing project execution processes
    • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and clients

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (required)
  • Experience with administrative processes
  • Familiarity with tools like Ariba, Concur, DocuSign
  • Project coordination or management experience
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience in:
    • Nonprofits, foundations, or community engagement
    • Local government or public sector
    • Corporate social responsibility (CSR)
    • Event coordination (minimal requirement)
