Private Equity firm located in Midtown West, Manhattan is seeking to hire a Long-Term Temporary Receptionist to act as the first point of contact upon office entry. There is a good chance this position converts to permanent for the right candidate! Hours are 8:30am-5:30pm with paid overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, clients, and vendors, ensuring a high-touch and welcoming front-of-house experience
• Manage incoming calls with professionalism and confidentiality, accurately routing inquiries and taking detailed messages
• Coordinate visitor logistics, including meeting room scheduling, guest registration, and hospitality setup
• Maintain a pristine reception area and conference rooms that reflect the firm’s brand and high standards
• Assist with calendar coordination and meeting support for investment professionals as needed
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services
• Liaise with building management, security, and vendors regarding office access and facilities needs
• Support office operations, including supply management, catering orders, and ad-hoc administrative tasks
• Exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information and high-profile visitors

Qualifications:

• Degree is required
• Previous experience in a front desk, client-facing setting. 
• Ability to work independently and part of a team in a fast paced environment, while also being okay with downtime and having a proactive mindset
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Collaborative and flexible team player with a service-oriented mind

Compensation/Benefits:

• 70-75K Base DOE + Paid OT + Bonus
