Salary: USD25 - USD25 per hour

Our client, a tech‑driven financial services firm located in Manhattan is looking for a Temporary Receptionist for a maternity leave. This position will serve from the week of March 9 through July and will operate on a fully on‑site schedule between the hours of Monday & Friday 7:00am–3:00pm and Tuesday–Thursday 7:00am–5:00pm. Compensation is $25/hr.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations including greeting guests, handling phones, signing in visitors, and supporting security procedures
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages
  • Keep kitchen and common areas tidy and stocked
  • Brew coffee, restock supplies, maintain general office organization
  • Retrieve merchandise and handle miscellaneous office admin tasks
  • Ensure the office is orderly, welcoming, and running smoothly
  • Act as a helpful “catch‑all” support for the team; jump in where needed
  • Proactively stay involved and visible even though front desk is somewhat isolated
  • Use downtime effectively and maintain high reliability
