Our client, a private equity firm, is seeking a Receptionist to join the team. They are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who has strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills. The hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, with flexibility for early morning meetings. This role is onsite five days per week in their office in Manhattan.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the face of the firm by greeting guests, managing calls, and coordinating building security access
• Support meeting logistics, including conference room set-up, catering orders, and post-meeting clean-up
• Maintain vendor and building relationships, order office supplies, and oversee snack and beverage inventory
• Manage reception calendar, book conference rooms, and coordinate visitor scheduling
• Assist with expense reports, travel arrangements, and file organization as needed
• Provide overflow support to the Chief of Staff, Facilities Manager, and EA team; assist with ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
• 1+ years of professional experience; open to career transitioners (e.g., hospitality or flight attendants)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and “all hands on deck” mentality
• Energetic, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
