Communication Specialist 100% (919606NKR) Basel-Stadt, Schweiz

Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Development, maintenance and execution of a comprehensive Strategic Communications
Plan, in alignment with PTM Group Communications
• Development of internal communications both in English as well as German (i.e. G+
community, newsletters, success stories, goal achievement summaries, Leadership Team slidedecks,
intranet articles, Q&A documents for specific projects, brochures, etc.)
• Serve as a communications consultant to the site Leadership Team, helping to drive the
function’s business priorities and providing ghostwriting services as needed
• Closely collaborate with and support Transformation Lead and Organizational Change
Management to effectively drive changes within the organization
• Support and actively participate in the global PTM Communications Community to ensure
global alignment, collaboration and best practice sharing
• Support planning and execution of town halls, including agenda setting and development of
associated communications materials.
• Lead the storyboarding and development of various printed and digital communications
materials for the site.
• Develop and manage digital channels
• Ensure message consistency and design according to Roche Branding

Must haves:
• You have a commercial diploma or university degree in business administration /
communication (apprenticeship or college), or an equivalent qualification
• At least 3 years of working experience and 2 years of practical experience in a similar position
in a similarly complex company
• Ability to translate complex, technical, pharmaceutical and organizational information into
attractive and understandable messages according to requirements of target groups
• Professional, outgoing personality who is energized by connecting with people and liaising
with different audiences and cultures
• Capable of handling various demands and responding productively to requests under
pressure
• Communicate effectively in challenging situations and at all levels of the organization
• Excellent writing skills and proven storytelling ability
• Proactive and flexible personality with excellent organizational skills and high ability to
prioritize
• Very good MS office (Word, Xxcel, PowerPoint) and IT Skills such as google tools & platforms
• Excellent command of English and German (written and spoken) is required
