About you:
Wrexham Maelor Hospital are looking for a Mammographer to provide a highly specialised diagnostic service as part of a multi-disciplinary team, in their newly updated breast unit.
Role Responsibilites:
- Perform routine radiographic and more specialised mammography examinations on your own caseload of patients, assess the resulting images and recording the necessary information in PACS and Soliton.
- Undertake diagnostic radiographic examinations.
- Act as IR(ME)R practitioner and operator for radiological procedures within your scope of practice.
- Operate a wide range of expensive, specialized imaging equipment safely and appropriately.
- Ensure all relevant safety checks are made before proceeding with any examination.
- Essential Qualifications:
We are looking for an experienced Mammograper with:
- BSc Hons Diagnostic Radiography
- PG Certificate in Mammography
- HCPC Registration
- Must have Right to work in the UK
- Minimum two years experience working within a symptomatic breast unit or within the NHSBSP
