We're partnering with a growing community mental health service in Central Queensland seeking experienced Mental Health Clinicians, Social Workers, Psychologists or Mental Health Nurses to join their expanding multidisciplinary team.
This is an opportunity to provide evidence-based, short-term therapeutic interventions to adults while enjoying manageable caseloads, strong clinical support, and a collaborative workplace culture.
About the Role
Working with adults aged 18+, you'll deliver comprehensive assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health presentations.
You'll manage a varied caseload while working collaboratively with clients and their support networks to develop, review and achieve meaningful treatment goals.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Conducting comprehensive intake and bio-psychosocial assessments
- Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Developing, reviewing and closing treatment plans
- Managing a caseload of approximately 5 clients per day
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
This service operates on a short-term therapy model (up to three months), providing Medicare-funded support with no referral required, allowing clients to access timely care when they need it most.

About You
We're looking for clinicians who are passionate about providing high-quality mental health care and enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
You will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Nursing or a related discipline
- Experience delivering mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative, client-centred approach
- The ability to manage a diverse clinical caseload
Experience working within community mental health or short-term intervention services will be highly regarded.
