About the Role

As the Women's Cultural Hub Coordinator, you'll lead the development of a culturally responsive Women's Cultural Hub designed to strengthen support for women, children and families through community leadership, collaboration and cultural knowledge.

Working closely with community members, schools, health professionals and government agencies, you'll coordinate programs that promote family wellbeing, strengthen cultural identity and improve outcomes for vulnerable families.

You'll also provide cultural guidance to partner organisations, helping to ensure services are delivered in ways that are respectful, culturally safe and community-led.

Key Responsibilities

You'll:

• Lead community-led cultural support initiatives for women and families
• Build strong partnerships across health, education and community services
• Coordinate programs that strengthen family wellbeing and cultural identity
• Provide cultural guidance to improve service delivery
• Support and mentor Cultural Advisors
• Promote collaboration between families, communities and service providers
• Contribute to program development, evaluation and continuous improvement

About You

You'll be passionate about strengthening Aboriginal families and recognise the vital role culture plays in improving community outcomes.

You'll bring:

• Experience coordinating community, cultural or family support programs
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
• Experience working with vulnerable families or community-led initiatives
• Understanding of culturally responsive and strengths-based practice
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Confidence working independently while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams

Essential Requirements

• Current Driver Licence
• Working with Children Clearance (or ability to obtain)
• National Criminal History Check
