Castle Procurement  are recruiting  for an Assistant Product Manager to be based in the Hull area working for a national client. This is a  fantastic opportunity to join an established organisation at an exciting time of growth. Reporting in to the Purchasing Manager this is a permanent position supporting Product Managers and would suit someone with relevant experience or someone who has worked as an Assistant Buyer and looking for career development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research customer, market needs and highlight growth opportunities
  • Support the development of Product plan
  • Monitor product costs and assess price increases
  • Support Product Managers to achieve procurement savings
  • Negotiate suppliers terms agreements
  • Support PMs on supplier activity plans


Castle Procurement are therefore looking for anyone with the relevant skills and/or experience below:

  • Previous experience within a similar role or some purchasing experience
  • IT Literate especially Excel
  • A good understanding  of online procurement systems
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent networking and influencing skills
