Junior Service Support Engineer (RL10574) Malton, England
Castle Employment Group are recruiting for a Junior Service Support Engineer to join an established business on the outskirts of Malton. Working as part of the Service Support Team this is a permanent position and would suit a Graduate and someone with a knowledge or interest in IT/Network Architectures or Software Programming.
Key responsibilities:
- First point of contact for external customers
- Responsible for the administration of all support calls & emails
- Liaise with internal customers to identify and resolve problems
- Update and maintain the customer support database
- Involved in the testing of any system modifications(both software & hardware)
- Carry out initial inspections on returned customer equipment
- Support engineers with site visit preparation
Castle Employment are therefore looking for someone with the following skills :
- A customer focused attitude
- Higher Education in Maths, Science and English would be advantageous
- A working knowledge of MS Office
- Self-motivated and able to work to challenging deadlines
- Knowledge of interest in IT Network Applications would be an advantage
- Knowledge of interest in Software Programming or Network security
