Assistant Stores Controller (RL10576) Northallerton, England
Castle Procurement are recruiting for an Assistant Engineering Stores Controller to join an established manufacturing business based near Northallerton, North Yorkshire This is a permanent position and would suit someone with previous experience of working within an engineering purchasing role
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for sourcing suppliers and obtaining goods and services at competitive prices
- Proving Engineering purchasing and storage service to the site
- Purchasing a range of engineering products and services
- Negotiating prices of goods and services
- Managing and controlling the dispatch and delivery of equipment
- Administer the stores systems and do thorough stock checks
- Produce reports for the engineering budgets
Castle Procurement are therefore looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience within purchasing in an engineering environment
- Competent in using stock and purchasing software packages
- Technical ability at Basis Mechanical level
- Good negotiation skills and a confident telephone manner

- Salary £20-21k
- A very well established and successful food manufacturing business based near Northallerton
- Hours of work 9.00-17.00
