Purchasing Manager (RL9239) North Yorkshire, England

We are currently looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to work for an established business based in North  Yorkshire. This is a temporary contract up to 6 months.  It is also easily commutable from York, Malton, Scarborough, Thirsk

 

Job Role:

  • Provide contract/supplier management guidance to staff
  • Provide procurement advice to assist with supplier engagement
  • Work closely with existing members of the procurement team and other internal department
  • Identify and research  potential new suppliers
  • Research new products and services
  • Improving procurement processes

We would be keen to speak to anyone with proven experience within a professional purchasing environment and an understanding of Supply Chain Management procedures.  You should ideally be  a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply
