Castle Procurement are looking for an experienced Buyer to join an established Food Manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Malton, North Yorkshire. This is a site based permanent role supporting the Manager in the team and would suit someone from a food manufacturing background
Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently on set projects
- Cost reduction
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers
- Conduct cost/price analysis
Castle Procurement are therefore looking for anyone with the relevant skills and/or experience below:
- Experience of working within a similar environment
- Food manufacturing experience is essential
- Must be a strong negotiator
- A strategic approach to cost reduction and continuous improvement
- Attention to detail and able to work under pressure
