CNC Press Brake Machinist – Ilkeston (DE7)

£15.00 per hour

4 on 4 off - 12‑hour shifts

Are you an experienced CNC Press Brake Machinist looking to join a fast‑growing, highly automated precision manufacturing environment?

Our client is a leading supplier of fabricated components across a wide variety of sectors.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for producing accurate, high‑quality folded components.

Daily duties include:

• Setting, operating & adjusting Bystronic CNC press brakes
• Folding laser‑cut parts to tight tolerances
• Reading & interpreting engineering drawings
• Selecting tooling, ensuring correct alignment & calibration
• Quality checking with verniers, angle gauges and measuring tools
• Working to strict 5S and ISO standards

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• CNC Press Brake experience is a MUST
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of bend allowances & tooling setups
• Knowledge of mild steel, stainless steel & aluminium

Desirable:

• Experience with robotic bending systems
• Awareness of wider fabrication processes
