Are you an experienced Plater with a strong background in structural steel?

We’re recruiting for a busy, well‑established engineering and fabrication facility producing large‑scale infrastructure steelwork for major UK projects.

This is a full‑time, workshop‑based role with consistent hours, long‑term stability, and plenty of overtime for those who want it.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Full plating role working on heavy structural steel

·      Reading & working from complex technical drawings

·      Using fabrication machinery (press brake, guillotine etc.)

·      Marking out, cutting & fabricating heavy‑gauge steel

·      Working with mild steel from 10mm–100mm+

·      Producing bespoke and high‑quality components

Qualifications & Experience:

·      Proven experience in the structural steel industry

·      Ability to confidently read technical drawings

·      Heavy gauge plating experience

·      Strong attention to detail & commitment to quality

Hours & Overtime:

• Monday to Friday 07:00 – 16:00
• Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours
• Plenty of overtime available
