GI Pro are recruiting for a CNC Programmer for our precision engineering client based in Ripley, Derby. The role will involve programming, setting and operating a variety of machines including a 5-axis Mill-Turn machine.

The role:

•           You will be programming, setting and operating 5-axis Mill-Turn machines

•           Using controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain and Mazatrol

•          Carrying out self-inspection of work to ensure quality

•          Working with materials such a nickel, titanium, aluminium and steel

•          Working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

•            Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Person Specification:

•           CNC Programming experience is essential

 •          Ideally worked with multiple control systems

•           Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

•           Ideally be apprentice trained, time-served or hold a relevant qualification

The Package:

•           Permanent position

•           Days and night shift rotating every 2 weeks

•           Immediate start

•           Overtime available paid at a premium
