Permanent Position

GI Pro are recruiting for a CNC Miller for our well-established engineering client based in Nottingham. The role will involve setting and operating a variety of CNC Milling machinery.

The role:

•           You will be setting and operating milling machines

•           Using Heidenhain controls

•          Carrying out self-inspection and using measuring equipment

•           Reading and interpreting complex technical drawings

•           Producing bespoke components as everything is made to order

•           Editing tooling’s and fixtures according to programs

Person Specification:

•           CNC Milling experience is essential

•           Strong setting and operating experience

 •          Ideally have worked with Heidenhain controls however will consider alternate controls

•           Ability to work from technical drawings

•           Positive and pro-active approach
