Punch Press Operator

Location: Banbury

Salary: £13 - £14ph

Hours: Monday–Thursday 07:00–16:00, Friday 07:00–14:00

Overtime: Time + 1/3

The Role

As a Punch Press Operator, you will be responsible for producing high‑quality bespoke parts using machinery. This is a hands-on manufacturing role working with a variety of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set, operate and maintain punch press machines
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and tool changes
• Conduct quality checks on finished components
• Assisting with other departments such as assembly deburring
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience operating a punch press machine in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Confident with tooling and machine set up
• High attention to detail and a focus on quality
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
