To be considered for this role you must have NEW BUILD experience
Excellent opportunity for an Experienced New Build Purchase Solicitor/Conveyancer to join a well-established Yorkshire Law Firm in Leeds Centre.
Conveyancer duties
• See clients, take instructions and advise;
• See cases through from inception to conclusion in accordance with best conveyancing practices;
• Check titles and conduct client meetings;
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with introducers and referrers;
• Where the opportunity arises to generate new introducers/sources of work;
• Ensure that introducers websites and systems are diligently updated and service level agreement
requirements maintained;
• Maintain files in a neat and orderly fashion;
• Deal with checking of mortgage offers and reporting to clients;
• Comply with the requirements of the lender where there is a mortgage;
• Prepare completion statements and invoices;
• Be familiar with and operate and comply with any quality procedures the firm operates;
• Comply with any Health and Safety procedures the firm operates;
• Undertake other duties as may be required from time to time by the Partners to ensure the smooth running of the firm;
• Be familiar with all rules relating to the Professional conduct of solicitors;
• Ensure that your professional continuing education points are up to date;
• Ensure Money Laundering procedures are adhered to and any suspicious circumstances reported to the MLRO;
