Role Overview
Reporting to the Director of Finance, this National Finance Manager sits at a national level and will be responsible for the leadership, management and development of a large transactional team whilst driving critical projects across systems and process review.
Working closely with the Finance Director, this National Finance Manager will be responsible for the accurate, timely and efficient management of the National transactional function as well as providing strong leadership and support to team leaders. Your day to day responsibilities will expand past the BAU operational management to driving process review and improvement, assessment and improvement of systems and presenting business cases, maintaining and driving new policy initiatives and resolving issues related to key accounts.
As the National Finance Manager you will work closely with the business in building and maintaining a “Centre of Excellence” for the transactional services team. Your responsibility will extend to playing a key role in a national finance transformation project which includes implementation of a new expense management system.
This National Finance Manager will meet with the executive finance committee including the CFO to review and prioritise the division’s deliverables. Given a strong focus on business and process improvement this role will provide the candidate with excellent exposure to executives across all facets of the business.
In addition to the operational and project focused requirements this role places a large focus on ensuring and promoting leadership and development as well as mentoring.
Candidate Profile
You are currently a seasoned Finance Manager within a large multinational or listed environment and are currently managing a large team. You are Degree qualified and overall you have extensive management experience and thrive on working in a KPI driven environment. A real emphasis on business partnering will be critical to your success and you have a proven background of successful project management and process reengineering. Verbal and written communication skills are one of your strengths and you are known to have a strong drive for success. You flourish in an environment that is known to employ only the best of the best and in return for your contribution to the group you can expect a very rewarding and nourishing career.
