Job Overview

As a QC Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting vehicles to ensure they meet company quality standards before being sold, transported, or released to customers. You will identify and report any damage, defects, or quality issues while maintaining accurate inspection records and supporting efficient vehicle operations.

• Conduct quality control inspections on a wide range of vehicles.
• Assess vehicle condition and identify any cosmetic or mechanical defects.
• Complete accurate vehicle condition reports and inspection documentation.
• Ensure all inspections are completed in line with company procedures and quality standards.
• Report any damage, missing items, or discrepancies promptly.
• Liaise with operational teams to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
• Safely move vehicles around the site when required.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
• Support continuous improvement within the inspection process.

Key Skills and Experience

• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills for recording inspection results.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Inspector, QC Inspector, Vehicle Technician, PDI Technician, or Damage Assessor.
• Knowledge of vehicle components and automotive standards.
• Experience completing vehicle condition reports.
• Mechanical or automotive background.
