A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Wood Machinist to join this independent Timber and Builder’s merchant group.
The role
Setting up and operating machines and equipment such as moulders, panel saws and spindles
Co-ordinate with other departments within the branch
Accurately forecasting time taken to complete jobs to enable correct pricing given to the customer
Process and deliver all customer orders accurately and efficiently
Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment at all times
Experience required
A strong understanding of wood with knowledge of both soft and hard wood timber
Experience in operating wood cutting machinery such as moulders
Working knowledge of health and safety regulations
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Good organisation and communication skills
Relevant experience in wood machinery
IT literate
