Position: Physiotherapist – Aged Care Facility
Type: Ongoing, 4 days per week
Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is looking for a Physiotherapist who is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to Aged Care residents.
The facility we are recruiting for offers a supportive and inclusive environment where the well-being and quality of life of their residents is their top priority.
We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team and contribute to the health and mobility of these elderly residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents’ physical conditions and functional capabilities.
- Develop and implement personalised physiotherapy care plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance the quality of life.
- Provide one-on-one and group physiotherapy sessions tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate residents and their families about exercises and techniques to improve and maintain physical health.
- Monitor and document residents’ progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Promote a safe and supportive environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Experience in Aged Care or a similar setting is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
