IT Resourcing at Ergo are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst for an initial 12 month contract role with a large government body.

This role is Hybrid and based in Dublin city centre.

What will you do?

 The business analyst will work with all stakeholders to:

• Evaluate existing processes, conduct research and analysis in order to come up with solutions to business problems.
• Elicit requirements using a range of tools which may include, but is not limited to interviews, story boarding, user journeys, document analysis, requirements gathering workshops, business process modelling and high-level estimation.
• Engage with Business end users, to clearly define the system requirements
• Produce documentation in line with standards
• Conduct documentation reviews and ensure that all documentation produced is in line with standards
• Understand the business domain, identify needs and evaluate business and technical solutions
• Manage customer expectations and relationships effectively and professionally
• Advise on trade-offs between requirement value and development effort
• Lead effective and positive team interaction with team members

What do you need?

• At least 8 years' experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong in-depth technical analysis experience
• An IT degree (engineering/software development or similar)
• Previous experience with system integration
• Experience in the public sector is advantageous
• Great communication skills
