Software Developer – Dublin South - €76k PA

Leading Global Technology organisation has an urgent requirement for an experienced Software Developer at their Facility in Dublin South.

The role involves working in a combined engineering organization to drive design, development, testing and release of services that enhances customer experiences with some of the company’s major products.

While this role is initially offered on an 18-month FTC basis, there is a very strong probability that this role will become permanent before then.

Responsibilities of role:

• Working in a combined engineering organization to drive design, development, testing and release of services that enhances customer experiences as outlined above

• Helping evolve development guidelines, practices & principles to ensure features can be built and tested at a rapid pace

• Driving the building and testing of new and updated NLP components

• Working with internal PM and vendors to ensure that system can handle new components and build cadence

• Managing distributed systems across Azure VMs and Azure Storage solution

Essential Candidate Requirements

• Third Level qualification in Computer Science, IT or other relevant Qualification with a strong programming component

• 5+ years in C#, Java or other object-oriented languages

• 5+ years of industry experience designing, building, testing & shipping software

• Experience in building and evolving cloud services

• Strong problem-solving skills and are comfortable in dealing with ambiguity

• Ability to handle competing priorities in fast paced environment

• An ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, dynamic environment

• Availability to work onsite in Ireland if required
