Salary: EUR500 - EUR500 per annum

Global leader in the field of Data Security requires an experienced Solution /Technical Lead with greater than 10 years’ experience of Windows Server Operating Systems from 2003 to 2019.

The role will involve taking a lead role in planning and executing the ringfencing by firewall of windows server 2003 and 2008, whic will form part of a larger ongoing project at the company. 

 

Responsibilities of Role:

• Audit and document Servers, Analyse Purpose and business function of Server, dependencies on other servers and application interfaces.

• Plan Ringfencing of Physical as well as VMWare Virtual Servers

• Prepare documentation for change approval (runbooks, roll back plans etc.)

• Identify any required patches and Patch Legacy Server.

• Identify and implement any required workarounds.

• Lead Change Slot.

• Provide positive and proactive participation within the team and active collaboration with colleagues across the Group as appropriate.

 

Essential Candidate Requirements

• Third Level degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent

• Microsoft Professional Certification – MSCA, MCP

• Extensive experience with:

- Windows Server OS

- Active Directory Domain Controller, CSSM, IIS Server, SQL Server,

- Firewalls

- Networking

• Good experience with:

- Print Server, File-share, SharePoint, MQ, Connect Direct

- JBoss, IBM WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server, SQL Server, DB2

• Strong technical knowledge of network protocols and related technologies

• Good knowledge of IT Security best practice and CISSP.

• Some knowledge of information security and risk control frameworks such as COBiT, NIST, ISO 27001, ISO 27002
