Salary: EUR45000 - EUR45000 per annum

Level 2 Helpdesk Support – Dublin - €45K

 

About the Role

Market leading provider of Motorway and fuel services urgently requires a Service Desk Analyst to join the IT Service Delivery team at the company HQ in Dublin West.

Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager, the ideal candidate with have a high level of Customer Service experience (Level 1 & 2 Support), preferably be Microsoft Certified and have a minimum of 3 years specialising in supporting O365, Windows, Desktop and Infrastructure.

This is a permanent role and offers prospective candidates the chance to join an organisation with a large (And continuously growing!) IT Department that will offer plenty of scope for further career development.

 

Responsibilities of Role

• 1st and 2nd Line IT Support (Helpdesk and Deskside)

• User Administration for Active Directory, Exchange and Windows based Applications

• Provide high quality Service Support and Customer Service to the Business, via Deskside Support, MS Teams, Email and Telephone

• Provide solutions / work arounds to incidents and problems

• Work collaboratively across the Group IT team to share best practice

 

Essential Candidate Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or appropriate equivalent

• Microsoft Technical Certification

• Demonstrable experience of Service Desk support in a Service Delivery Team

• Prior experience working in a retail environment would be beneficial

• Active Directory User and Computer Administration

• Windows Administration

• Exchange Mailbox Administration – Office 365

• General Network administration and troubleshooting, TCP/IP, WAN / LAN / Wi-Fi

• Experience of ServiceNow ITSM a distinct advantage

• Symantec Endpoint Management experience is desirable

• Strong incident management skills with the ability to investigate trends, ability to apply a structured approach to finding resolution

• Strong customer service skills

• Capable of communicating a technical message to non-technical users in a clear, simple and diplomatic manner

• Highly adaptable with a strong work ethic and experience delivering to deadlines.

• Capable of independently managing workload and balancing priorities.

• Strong planning and organisational skills and attentive to detail.

• A positive attitude with a solution focused approach to challenges that arise.

• Is resilient and calm under pressure.
