The Role
As Power BI Developer / Data Analyst you will be a key member of the Business Intelligence team, responsible for developing & delivering robust reporting as part of a large-scale technical modernisation programme. You will be directly involved in shaping the future of the company and contributing to a range of business intelligence initiatives, making effective use of the vast amounts of data held. Your responsibilities will include:
- deriving meaningful business insights from large, complex data
- deploying Business Analytics Dashboards using Power BI, SQL Server, Excel etc
- creating / publishing forecasting dashboards
- supporting data storage, integration, analysis and presentation processes
- compilation & analysis of commercial, financial and non-financial data to identify trends
- liaising with colleagues & third-parties in design & configuration of new applications
- training team members and users on Power BI reporting tools, dashboards and reports

The Person
As Power BI Developer you will have experience as a BI Developer / Data Analyst and relevant qualifications / technical skills. You will have knowledge & experience of:
- data warehouse design and data mining
- database management systems / on-line analytical processing (OLAP) / ETL frameworks
- SQL queries / SSRS / SSIS / Microsoft Office technology stack
- BI platforms and technologies ( Microsoft Power BI / Cognos / Tableau, etc)
- exposure to Cloud technologies & platforms (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS)
