Senior Human Resources Generalist

OVERVIEW: The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting and executing a wide range of HR functions including employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR policy implementation. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and leadership, ensuring HR practices align with business goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolution in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
- Lead and support employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Conduct investigations related to workplace concerns and recommend appropriate actions.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Other special projects as assigned by HR Director.
SCHEDULE:
- Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
- In office Monday-Thursday, Fridays remote
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- HR certification preferred (SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)
- 4+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
