We are seeking a candidate to join our team and manage the accounts receivable process in our local PSI office in Twinsburg, OH.
OVERVIEW:
The successful Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing the process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, payment application, and customer account maintenance. This role plays a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow and delivering excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generate and distribute accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Apply customer payments to the NetSuite system, ensuring proper allocation and reconciliation.
- Maintain and update customer accounts, including processing refunds and issuing credit memos.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and account status with professionalism and clarity.
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify and implement process improvements in billing and collections.
- Follow up on overdue accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role. Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance strongly preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
